Musical Career and Reyna Tropical

Fabiola Reyna is the creative force behind Reyna Tropical, a project blending cumbia, punk, and tropical sounds to explore queer Mexican and Indigenous identities.[5][6][20] She released songs like “Ya Va Pasar” with “The Tropical Collective / La Colectiva Tropical,” framing it as a fan-artist relationship.[1] Performances include entirely Spanish-language sets at Studio Milwaukee,[3] TEDxPortland,[5] and tours in Europe.[18] Reyna Tropical opened for Sylvan Esso and played Manchester's Band On The Wall.[15][22]
