Deterministic Qubit to Coherent State Mapping
This paper introduces the "qcMAP gate," a novel quantum gate designed to transfer an arbitrary qubit state into a superposition of two quasi-orthogonal coherent states within a cavity. The gate leverages conditional qubit and cavity operations, specifically exploiting energy level dispersive shifts that are significantly stronger than linewidths. This method enables the efficient generation of multi-component superpositions of coherent states, non-local entangled states across two resonators, and multi-qubit GHZ states.
