After several years of rowing competitively in flat water, Sophia set her eyes on the ocean, and in 2022, she and her team, Latitude 35, set the world record for the fastest women's team to row from California to Hawaii. I learned in our conversation that Sophia is a world record holder for crossing the Pacific Ocean with a team of three other women from California to Hawaii.
